Dax was brought into the vet to be euthanized because his family was tired of him getting loose and they no longer wanted to pay the fines to get him back. Thankfully the vet asked them to surrender him instead so they could find rescue placement for him.
About Dax
Once in rescue it was discovered Dax had been living with cancer in his ear, backend and inside his rectum. Unfortunately for Dax after multiple visits to doctors and specialists, we were told not all the cancer is able to be removed. Because of this condition, Dax has been placed in our sanctuary program. He will remain in his foster home for the remainder of his life, where we will take care of all of his medical needs. But even more importantly, he'll be provided with endless love until his last day.
